Frequently Asked Questions for School Leaders

Key guidelines for principals, management boards, and university administrators.

A standard Scout Troop or Guide Company typically comprises 12 to 32 students (divided into patrols of 6 to 8 students each). For primary schools, a Cub Pack can start with 12 children. For universities, a Rover Crew or Ranger Team can start with 8 to 24 collegiate students.

Not at all. Troop meetings typically run for 45 to 60 minutes once a week, often incorporated into the school's zero period, SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work), or Saturday activity slots. Outdoor camps and rallies are scheduled during term breaks and weekends.

Our State Training Team conducts the certified 7-day Basic Training Course (BTC) for nominated teachers. Upon completion, teachers receive the official Scoutmaster / Guide Captain Warrant, making them qualified to lead, test, and recommend students for progressive badges.

The institutional charter registration fee is nominal and heavily subsidized. It includes official unit registration, troop charter certificate, scout flag, and handbooks. Student annual individual registration fees are minimal and cover national group accident insurance.
